Upper Valley Earth Week Open House Tour

April 25 @ 10:00 am April 26 @ 2:00 pm

Come visit your neighbors in the Upper Valley Earth Week Open House to see and discuss the earth-friendly strategies they’re using. Visitors will be welcomed on both Saturday, April 25 and Sunday, April 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. both days.

WHAT: Residents and businesses in 10 Upper Valley communities invite their neighbors to come see and discuss the earth-friendly strategies they’ve adopted in order to do less harm to their families, their communities, and the planet. Come talk to owners and business about their solar power, battery backup, sustainable gardening or farming, electric vehicles, heat pumps, efficient water heaters, induction stoves, electric snow blowers, and much more. Neighbors talking to neighbors is the best way to learn from each other, including what was easy, what was hard, and how they saved money.

WHEN: Saturday and Sunday, April 25-26, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Pick the sites you’d like to visit, and drop in any time during those hours.

Some businesses will be offering tours earlier that week; register by Saturday, April 18 to receive the pdf guide in time to receive info about those tours.

WHERE: 20 homes, 4 businesses (including 3 farms), 4 nonprofits, and 1 church in 10 Upper Valley communities in New Hampshire and Vermont.
