July 22 @ 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Did you know that using a commercial gas-powered leaf blower for one hour produces as much smog-forming pollution as driving 1,100 miles in a car? Switching to electric lawn care equipment means less polution and less equipment maintenance.
Join us at the Market on the Green on July 22nd to give electric lawn care equipment a try. We’ll have electric mowers and edgers available to test so that you can see if they are right for you.
Arrive any time during the Market hours (3-6 PM).
Already have electric lawn care equipment? We’d love to have more volunteers to join us in sharing their equipment for a demo. Contact Heather Knoll, Programs Coordinator at programs@sustainablewoodstock.org to volunteer.
