Learn about the impacts of Multiflora Rose and help us remove the plant from the Farm and Wilderness pasture!
Have you ever wondered how to identify and manage Multiflora Rose? Join Farm & Wilderness Conservation and Sustainable Woodstock us as we learn about the biology of the plant and how we manage this invasive species. Participants will help us remove a patch of Multiflora Rose in one of the agricultural pastures at Farm & Wilderness in Plymouth VT.
This event is free and open to all ages, children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Specific directions provided upon registration. Please come prepared with closed toed shoes, hats, long sleeves and pants, bug repellent and water.
Snacks and water provided as well as gloves and other removal tools.
This is a great way to connect with your community to learn more about the impacts of invasive species and how we can minimize their spread. Please note that participant contact information will be shared with both Farm & Wilderness and Sustainable Woodstock.
