This fall, Sustainable Woodstock will be collaborating with WindowDressers to make custom-built, interior storm window inserts for residents of: Woodstock, Windsor, Hartland, Pomfret, Barnard, Bridgewater, Plymouth, and Reading. The inserts are easy to install, removable, and reusable. They let light in, keep drafts out, and reduce heating costs.
WindowDressers builds a custom kit for every window measured, and these kits are assembled in a fun assembly-line style event in the fall. The Woodstock build will be held at North Chapel from September 12th -19th and is a great volunteer opportunity to help keep your neighbors warm during the winter and reduce our community’s carbon emissions.
Volunteers can help build inserts (no building experience necessary!), cook food for volunteer meals, and assist with set up and clean up. There’s a role for everyone!
