Sustainable Woodstock is first and foremost a volunteer organization. Dozens of people contribute in every way imaginable so that Sustainable Woodstock can make a positive difference. There are big jobs and small jobs. Things you can do in an hour a week or things that will take you several hours a day for a limited period. Some ways you can contribute:
- Help with an event or project: Volunteering to help with Sustainable Woodstock’s events and programs is a great way to meet others from the community and have fun!
- Work behind the scenes: If you prefer to help with all of the details that keep an organization running smoothly, there is lots to keep you busy. We need assistance with website maintenance, database maintenance, and general event organization.
- Start your own initiative: Do you have a particular passion that you want to act on? Talk to us about your idea! We’ll see what we can do to help you champion your cause and get others involved.
Here’s a list of our current projects — find the one that’s most interesting to you.
To match your talents and volunteer requirements with our needs, please contact Sally Miller, director , or call (802) 457-2911. Or fill out our volunteer form and let us know what you’re interested in, and we’ll be in touch with you.
